Day 8
We’re now at Day 8 of the WSOP. It kind of feels like one big rolling day really, as you really do lose track of what day of the week it is. We’ve had a couple of long days which also means you lose track of the time of day as I find myself sleeping through into the afternoon. Two days ago we worked Day 2 of Event #6, the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo and the day’s play didn’t end until 6:30am. We walked out of the casino in glorious sunshine which was a very weird experience. Yesterday I got to work my first ever WSOP final table with Vietnamese born Trang Luu capturing the bracelet.
The highlights of the week have been Erick Lindgren winning his first bracelet, Isabelle Mercier drunk while playing to the point that she couldn’t stand straight, and that girl from ESPN360….err I mean the girls from PokerNews! 😉
Double Gulp wall update – Tom has been going strong but I’m struggling. It took me three days to finish my last one. I fear Tom may fire me from the team…

The rogue Del Taco cup has been approved by the committee as a decorative third-tier to the wall. Del Taco have the greasiest burgers you’ll find, but they have free sachets of chilli sauce ranging from mild to hot to ranging inferno!
